Ross is a Scottish native with an academic background in sociology and design. During his studies he came to the realisation that for true societal impact, technology would be the catalyst for change. Throughout his career he has been exploring the ever-changing relationship between people, technology and society. Over the last 5 years Ross progressed his practice by working in advanced digital technologies focusing on the design and delivery of specialised projects and programmes in varying technologies and industries. Recently, Ross has been working on innovation in cities and transport, with a focus on system-innovation through testbed environments, which has led him to his current position as Testbed Director for the Urban Lab at Expo City Dubai.
